No Doubts

Romans 4:20-21 states, "He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform."  

These particular verses speak of how Abraham believed God WITHOUT doubting the promise the Lord had given him.  What may have seemed impossible... a son at 100 years old... was POSSIBLE because Abraham had faith in God.  Remember this particular promise was made 25 years earlier.  So, for 25 years Abraham was FULLY convinced that God was going to fulfill His promise.  WOW!!!  I'm convicted, how about you?  

Have any of you wondered if God is really going to come through with His promise for you? I have!!!  Maybe you are beginning to doubt that He is going to give you a desire that has been in your heart for quite some time now.  Maybe you are doubting that He can truly use you to make a difference for His glory.  Maybe you doubt the promise of his love for you or the promise that He has a good and perfect plan for you.  Whatever the doubt(s) may be, we need to be people of faith.  Let us stand firmly on ALL of God's promises and give glory to God even BEFORE He blesses us with more than we have EVER asked, thought, or imagined!
